For the use of the special department’s holdings please book a visit to the respective special reading room. You can book a complete day in a special reading room via the email addresses given below maximum 8 weeks in advance.
Please make your booking until 12am at the very latest on the opening day (Mon-Fri) preceding your visit. After confirmation of your booking you can access the library site Unter den Linden. When you enter the library, please have an identification document ready.
Usually pre-orders are provided for the day of your visit. Depending on the situation in the stacks deliveries may take some days. It would help staff very much if you place your request as early as possible.
In order to enable us to process your request easily, please give the following details:
- Date of your planned visit
- Name, first name
