If you mostly use library items relating to the period before 1945, we recommend that you visit the site Unter den Linden (currently closed). The carrels in that building are primarily meant for those of our readers, whose interests focus on topics of the first half of the 20th century and earlier periods.
Due to the temporary closing of the site Unter den Linden from 1 November 2019, carrels, working places and trolleys can currently not be reserved in this house.
