The GND team of the department of Bibliographic Services works with authority data in the DACH area (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), predominantly with data about corporate bodies, conferences and geographic data. The team advises and supervises institutions participating in the Union Catalogue of Serials and in Kalliope (national union catalogue for archival holdings), as well as specialists within the Berlin State Library. The team is represented in a number of national boards and working groups, among these the GND-Ausschuss, the expert team for quality issues and further groups.
