Fachinformationsdienst für internationale und interdisziplinäre Rechtsforschung (FID Recht)
Project object
Founded in 2014 the Specialised Information Service for International and Interdisciplinary Legal Research is funded by the German Research Foundation. It is located at the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin where it supersedes the Special Subject Collection Law. As part of the national Specialised Information Services Programme it aims at supporting legal research activities at university and extra-faculty scientific institutions in Germany by providing demand-driven information services. In so doing, it bases its support services – in particular also its acquisition profile – on the recommendations of the German Council of Science and Humanities regarding the Perspectives of Legal Scholarship, which envisage the promotion of the legal fundamental subject matters and of international as well as interdisciplinary legal research.
