FID Asien - CrossAsia

Project object

In the fourth project phase (2025-2027), work will continue to focus on the progressing development and operation of user-oriented search and access systems as well as the consolidation of the FID Asien as a service infrastructure for the German Asia-related sciences and humanities. The FID Asien will become even more involved in the area of digital humanities and support the academic communities it serves in these and other areas with a range of training courses and individual consultation. In addition, the FID Asien will drive forward technical services such as the improvement of the CrossAsia search and index optimisation for non-Latin scripts, as well as focusing on the expansion of ITR services. In addition, central services for the FID4SA will continue to be offered and operated via the CrossAsia platform.
