The holdings of East, Southeast and Central Asian literature at Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin are available for national and international inter-library loan.

Orders may be placed either conventionally by order slips or, for materials in Western languages, in accordance with the online inter-library loan of the Cooperative Library Network (Online-Fernleihe des Gemeinsamen Bibliotheksverbundes; GBV).

Orders within the framework of the Specialized Information Service Asia (Fachinformationsdienst Asien) may be placed via a special interlibrary loan service of the East Asia Department, the Blauer Leihverkehr (BLV).

The Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin participates in the document delivery service of German libraries, SUBITO, and delivers, at a charge, photocopies of printed articles and photocopies from books directly to the user.
