Cataloging of the manuscripts of the University Library and the University Archive Greifswald

Project object 

From 1 December 2001 to 31 October 2006, the cataloguing centre of the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz catalogued the medieval manuscript holdings of the Geistliches Ministerium am Dom St. Nikolai (GM), the Universitätsbibliothek (UB) and the Universitätsarchiv (UArch) in Greifswald in the form of an abbreviated description (so-called "short catalogue"). The description was made directly in the manuscript database Manuscripta Mediaevalia, whereby the results were continuously updated in the offline procedure. The entire late medieval holdings of 174 Hss (GM 104, UB 66, UArch 4) as well as a few Swedish legal manuscripts of the 16th century were indexed.
