Eastern Europe Reading Room
Holdings
In the Eastern Europe Reading Room readers find around 32,000 volumes of specialist literature and 200 specialist journals which are geographically and thematically arranged. We offer a selection of current print copies of Eastern European newspapers. The Eastern European Reading Room also contains relevant encyclopaedias, bibliographies, and other reference works. As a rule, the holdings in the reading room are reference only and cannot be borrowed.
Resources
At our Information Desk in the Eastern Europe Reading Room it is possible to use laptops and access the library’s Wi-Fi. There are also three research computers which may be used to search in the StaBiKat and other online catalogues as well as in a multitude of electronic resources which are accessible in the library’s network only.
